The hose will compress in length quite easily so you should be able to use a broom stick from the opposite end after removing the attachment and just push the blockage out of the hose.

You haven’t mentioned what type of a vac you have, so first we’ll work on cannister types. Most cannister vac hoses won’t compress much at all, which means you are most likely going to have to remove the hose from the vacuum itself, to remove this clog. If it’s near the vacuum then you should be able to reach it with a clothes hanger or a piece of some other stiff wire. Don’t forget to put a small hook on the end going into the hose so it will grab whatever is caught and pull it out. If there’s a blower spot in the rear of the vac, see if the hose will fit into that place. If not, put the hose back in the vacuum end, and hold the hose handle up to the exhaust port of the vac. That way you get a push from the back and a pull from the vac end. Maybe it will be enough to get it loose. If this is an upright vac, then most of those hoses will compress nearly completely and the biggest problem sometimes is getting it off the machine. Some of them come off with a twisting motion, some just pull off. Either way you have to figure that out first. Once off, you certainly should be able to get whatever is in there out. If not you may have to take it to a vac repair shop.
